Our FireStorm-Plus uses an Extra large 1/2" diameter Ferrocerium "Ferro" rod to ensure that it is strong enough to hold up when it's crunch time. Like all of our PyroStryke ferro rods, it contains a special blend of alloys including magnesium that ensures a shower of molten hot sparks (up to 5500 degrees) and around 18,000 strikes of showering hot sparks assuring quick combustion of your tinder. Don't settle for inferior quality when your life could be on the line.
